Business Development Executive - Air Freight - 25k Base
My client is a European air freight company with a strong global network. With more than 30 years of history, they are one of the market leader in air freight. Looking to further expand, they are now in search of a Business Development Executive.
You will be conducting business development activities for company's air freight solution. You will be a 360 degree consultant developing both client relationship and carrier/operator relationship. As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities would include:
- Participate in a 6 months training program to learn about the air freight industry and develop business network / clients pipeline
- Build up client list from scratch through cold and warm call, networking events, referral and personal network
- Develop and maintain strong relationship between airlines, operators and clients
- Provide clients with charter support and aircraft leasing/management solutions
- Manage and monitor booking from beginning till completion to ensure maximize customer services
To quality, one must possess:
- Degree holder with at least 1 year of business development experience in any industry
- Strong command in English and proficiency in one of the following language is a MUST - Thai / Korean / Vietnamese / Japanese
- Experience within air charter, freight or cargo industry would be an advantage
- Capability and interest in business development activities such as cold calls, client meetings and site visit
- Proactive, independent with a hunter personality
