Business Analyst

The Company

Our client is a French retail brand. They are looking for a business analyst to handle budget and forecast duties. This role will handle their APAC sourcing account and take care of the wholesale and distribution channel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the budget and forecast on volume, sales and standard margin
• Handle working capital forecast (AR, AP and Inventory)
• Perform analysis on by market and by product line, and provide commentary on business performance
• Prepare the sourcing variance report on the purchase price and standard cost
• Prepare rolling forecast by standard margin simulation and comparison according to latest information
• Update weekly sales report, working with logistics team to list the projected delivery volume and comparing with the latest forecast
• Monitor stock movement and follow up inventory level accuracy
• Facilitate logistics team to perform the year-end stock take
• Monitor and reconcile the interface between systems for the financial data and P&L
• Assist in ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Account, Finance or other related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years financial analysis experience
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and result-oriented
• Immediate availability is highly preferable
