Brand Controller

The Company

Our client is prestigious luxury good holding company with a diverse jewellery, watches and fashion portfolio. They have more than 35,000 staffs over the world. They are hiring a Brand Controller for financial planning and analysis of their Brands in Hong Kong & Macau markets. This is a business partnering role work closely with different department heads to drive and manage the planning cycles. This position reports to the function manager.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a local finance business partner to Hong Kong and Macau's departmental directors to support them on business decision making and resource allocation process
  • Drive insightful analysis and financial visibility to enable strategic and operational decisions
  • Prepare timely HK and Macau financial and management reports to HQ and management
  • Controlling month-end checking process to ensure compliance with IFRS & Group guidelines
  • Provide operational support and advice on proper policy and procedure, compliance and financial impact.
  • Streamline and automate the operating process by coordinate with Regional Finance and IT to develop regular financial management reports and business analysis Work on transversal financial analysis for Hong Kong and Macau markets
  • Work with the local/ regional teams for digitalization and data-visualization to provide adequate analysis for business and strategic decision making
  • Support ad hoc analysis required by management

Requirements:

  • University graduate with 6-8 years finance or accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel, able to manage high volume of data with complexity accurately
  • Highly process-driven and systematic in approach
  • Knowledge in SAP/BI tools will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Effective stakeholder management in matrix environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
