Billing Officer (International law firm, up to HK$30k)

Our client is a top-notch, reputable, sizable and well-established international law firm renowned for its friendly culture, stable environment, market-leading benefits, and excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and draft bills, amend time entries, and handle all billing matters.
• Liaise with attorneys on billing inquiries and special billing rates and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Meet with attorneys on WIP, revenue, and follow-up requests.
• Coordinate with other regional offices for interoffice billings and work closely with the accounting team on aged WIP matters.
• Update fee rates for different lawyers on the system and monitor WIPs for internal compliance.
• Perform tasks such as file opening, matter/ WIP management, validation of proformas, billing production, disbursement management, client queries, e-billing resolutions, and financial housekeeping as required.
• Perform ad hoc duties when required.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma holder or above.
• Experience in handling billing matters or accounts receivable, preferably from a law firm or MNC.
• Experience with Elite 3E is an advantage.
• Good communication abilities in both Chinese and English.
• A good team player with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
