Application Support - Investment Bank - Hong Kong

Our client is a leading ibank and they are now looking for a high calibre Application Support to look after their systems across middle to back offices.

Responsibilities:

  • You will perform day-to-day operational and production support tasks
  • You will maintain stability of production environment with proper service request, incident and change management
  • You will provide first level support for BO and Corporate department user, troubleshoot and resolve incidents reported within service level agreement
  • You will liaise with infrastructure, development teams and vendors to implement permanent fix of production problems
  • You will deploy new releases to production environment
  • You will provide application support for weekend changes and public holidays
  • You will coordinate testing with QA team. Arrange UAT with vendors and users
  • You will manage small support projects such as vendor application roll out
  • You will automate support processes and monitoring tasks

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge in one or more of the following systems: compliance system (e.g., SMARTS, GCR, trade surveillance), financial system (e.g., Oracle Financials, Concur), settlement system (e.g., GLOSS)
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Technical Skills: MS SQL Server and Oracle Database; VB script / VBA macro skill; Shell Scripting; Sharepoint; SSIS; JavaScript; Experience in SMARTS, GCR app flow, ServiceNow, Concur, SmartStream, Oracle Financials.
