AVP, Stock Connect Projects, Financial Institution

Our client is a top-tier financial institution in Hong Kong. With their continuous expansion in their business, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre project management professional to join their business focusing on driving projects related to stock connect for cash equities product.

Report directly to Department Head, you will be a subject matter expect to liaise with China market for stock connect related projects focusing on cash equities products to support business objectives. You will conduct market research, provide expert advice on driving and enhancing platform capability and ensure smooth projects delivery. You will work closely with various department, including Legal, Compliance, Risk and Control to monitor end-to-end process and ensure the whole process complies with internal and external regulatory requirements. You will work with IT team from preparing the business requirements, perform gap analysis to UAT testing. In addition, you will provide operational support within the team when required.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor degree or above in related discipline
• Minimum 6 years' experience in project management/ product management in financial institutions
• Solid experience dealing with China regulators/ Stock connect/ cash equities will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both English and Mandarin; Cantonese will be a plus
