AVP. IT Project Manager (Workplace tech / Infrastructure)

The company

It is a reputable financial services institution with nearly 2000 employees in Hong Kong. Their Infrastructure Services team is expanding with new headcount.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole project life cycle including setting objectives, resources management, risk management, and scheduling with firm-wide project management framework and governance standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Develop and implement Agile project management methodologies and best practices
  • Work with the infrastructure team to understand obstacles and difficulties
  • Design, agree, and implement service transition plan with Operation teams and businesses to assure change disruptions are well managed and within acceptable threshold.
  • Measure project performance and benefit realization using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Oversee the implementation of workplace technology and/or on-premise infrastructure

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • 7+ years project management experience on IT infrastructure domains
  • Prior experience in workplace technology / IT infrastructure project management is desired. including but not limited to
    • Workplace technology: M365, VDI, end-point security, digital tools
    • On-premise infrastructure management: DC relocation, server upgrade, network uplift
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese is desired
  • Certification on PMP or Prince 2, and Agile methodologies
