Associate Director - Finance

The Client:

A leading conglomerate with multiple ventures in Hong Kong. Over the years, they have strengthened their portfolio to include real estate, trading, manufacturing, and information technology . As part of their strategy, they are currently looking for a Group Level Associate Director to take charge of accounting and reporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Associate Director will be in charge of all group accounting and reporting
• Manage and lead a sizable accounting and finance team
• Review financial reports, conduct monthly analysis and ensure adherence to group accounting policies
• Review performance of subsidiaries, provide guidance on streamlining performance and enhancing internal controls
• Establish and maintain accounting control procedures
• Work closely and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other Ad Hoc projects

Requirements

• Degree holder, CPA qualified accountant required
• Group level exposure in financial reporting, experience managing sizable accounting team
• Minimum 15 years of experience with exposure in sizable company, HK listed or conglomerate experience is an advantage
• Previous track record on leading a team, including talent recruitment, development and coaching
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to work in a dynamic team and strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
