Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications, Insurance

Job description

Our client is a well-established global insurer. As part of a fast expansion, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Communciations/PR professional to join their team.

Reporting to the Manager, you will be a key member of the Marketing team focusing on both corporate communications and customer experience. You will be driving different initiatives in both customer experience and communications to increase the company's brand awareness. You will help support the development and implementation of media relations strategy to maintain and promote the company's image. You will help drive various communications activities, including handling media enquiries and monitoring media reporting. You will also be supporting Marketing in driving different campaigns. In addition, you will handle ad-hoc projects to meet different business requirements.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, public relations, translation, or journalism
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience within Media Relations/Corporate Communications/Marketing/Customer Experience gained from the financial services industry
  • Experience in insurance will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese
