Assistant Accountant (Fresh Grad Welcome, up to 22K)

The Company

Our client is the largest ship manager in the world. The company has more than 25 locations across the world, and it had its head office in Hong Kong. They are looking for Assistant Accountant to join their finance team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers for any discrepancies to ensure correctness before billing
• Ensure correctness of Brokerage Fee billing issued to suppliers/ shipyards in accordance with the terms and conditions,
• Liaise with inter company offices and suppliers on Know your clients (KYC) bank details and accounts registration in system, perform due diligence check
• Assist in liaising with Suppliers and Treasury Team to support payment to Suppliers
• Follow up monthly chaser with suppliers on our company's brokerage fee collection
• Update and record receipt into accounting general ledger system
• Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor' degree in Accounting/ Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years' working experience in accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge on Oracle Netsuite and Power Bl is a plus
• Good command of written & spoken Chinese, English
• Self-motivated, team player, independent, well organized, analytical, flexible
• Immediate available is preferable
