Assistant Accountant

The Company

Our client is a sourcing company with business over 18 countries around the world. They source from the APAC area and export to Europe countries. They are hiring an assistant accountant, responsible for preparing month-end closing and management reports. This role reports to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month end closing for assigned overseas offices
• Perform and review all financial and management reports, conducts variance analysis
• Work closely with finance and management team in offshore office and provides recommendation relevant to finance operations
• Handle bank reconciliation and intercompany recharges
• Prepare monthly schedule and review finance data from local finance team
• Liaise with auditor on audit matters
• Perform ad hoc assignment as per request

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or any relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' working experience preferably gained in sizeable company.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Words), with experience in Epicor will be a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
