Assistant Accountant

The Company
Our Client is a market-leading intellectual property firm provides service to multinationals and SMEs in Greater China. They are based in Hong Kong, also have offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Since a high increased business volume, they are expanding the team and currently hiring an assistant accountant.

Responsibilities

• Handle account payable and bank payment
• Perform month end closing and reconciliation
• Supports daily accounting function and book keeping in MYOB
• Responsible for expenses reimbursement and filings
• Assists in preparation of monthly management report
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the supervisor or management;

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years hands-on accounting experience
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Detail- oriented and able to work under fast-paced ever-changing work environment
• Proactive and independent, able to follow through with minimum direction
