Assistant Accountant

The Company

Our client is a listed apparel and footwear company. It owns 4 Chinese apparel brand and acquires 3 retail brands in HK which includes a well-known UK and an Italian footwear company. They are hiring an assistant accountant to handle the Hong Kong office's book. This role will report to a senior accountant.

Job Description

• Perform daily AR and AP duties
• Prepare daily treasury reports, bank reconciliations, vouchers, etc.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Assist to prepare full set accounts and accounting schedules for monthly report and interim/annual audit
• Follow up and analyze purchase order execution & completion
• Assist in preparing management accounts, breakdowns and reporting packages
• Ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Accounting or Finance discipline
• Minimum 2 years' experience, experience in PRC accounting is an advantage
• With good communication skills, detail-oriented, well organised
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel skills & Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Immediate available is preferred
