Our client is a well-known Global Consumer Brand company with a great variety of well-known product portfolio and headquartered in the US. The company has an iconic brand image; it is famous for its collaborative team culture with business presence 90+ countries. With the APAC business expansion and upscale plan, the company is looking for an Asia Marketing Manager for distributor market.

You will be responsible for leveraging Global & Regional strategies to implement Asia Brand & Trade Marketing strategies for distributor markets. As an Asia Marketing Manager based in Hong Kong, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a small team, closely partnering with distributors and key accounts, implementing brand, trade marketing and pricing strategies
  • Identifying key product portfolio for each market and developing Go-to-market tactics

  • Understand the target markets through research, category, competitive analysis, and sales data to identify market insights
  • Leading the formulation of budgets and trade guidelines related to the market and complement it with development plans
  • Coaching business partner to enhance brand awareness and expanding the market share across the online and offline channel
  • Developing and managing marketing budget, brand P&L, A&P, and reviewing the budget plan for each market, distributors and key accounts
  • Partnering closely with the Regional team to lead the development of marketing initiatives, brand strategies and budget distribution in accordance with the same
  • Delivering product and brand training to distributors and key accounts, mentoring the team to maximise sales performance

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree and have 10+ years of core Brand/ Trade/ Retail Marketing management experience, covering the Asia market in the FMCG/ Consumer Goods sector
  • Experience in a Distributor Management role with a proven track record in driving effective brand strategy with a hands-on approach
  • Solid experience in partnering with regional market in an international and fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding in Digital Marketing and E-commerce function
  • Outstanding strategic and analytical skills with a strong entrepreneurial mentality
  • Strong leadership with excellent communication, people and influencing skills
  • Solution-oriented, passionate and proactive attitude
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English and Chinese is a MUST
