Application Manager (Smart Contract, Java, DevOps)

Job description

My client is a well renowned web 3.0 organization backed by a well-funded venture capital. Due with their team expansion, they are actively looking for a Senior Technical Manager with previous exposures in payment or Smart Contract - Ledger.

The ideal candidate should have exposures in Java 8 or 11, executing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, cloud technology exposures (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).

Senior Technical Manager, Application Development (Java, DevOps)

Your role:

  • Direct line management. Accountable for managing individual performance and professional growth, including personal development and/or leadership capabilities via coaching and mentoring.
  • Grow team member functional capabilities either directly through line management & coaching efforts or indirectly through technical leaders.
  • Managing the installation and configuration of on-premise applications.
  • Collaborating with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data.
  • Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.
  • Completing code and script updates, as well as resolving product implementation errors.
  • Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.
  • At least 8 years' software development experieences
  • Practical experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, CI/CD tools, docker , Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, etc.
  • Exposures in technical design, multi threading, perform de-bugging.
  • Ability to ensure smooth software deployment by writing script updates and running diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation.
  • Ability to keep up with software development trends and innovation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
