Application Architect - Financial Services (70-85k)

The Company

It is a top-tier financial services institution in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Architecture for a newly launched trading platform system
• Maintain, manage and design the firm-self tradingi platform
• Collaborate with user divisions and vendor to design technical solution based on business use cases
• Collaborate with business teams to bring ideas, user journeys, and prototypes into realization. i.e. reference architecture, technology choice, technology roadmap, and implementation plan
• Drive technical excellence across the teams
• Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant
• At least 10 years of work experience in software development, and 3+ years in system design as an architect
• Hands-on Java programming skills on Linux systems
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
• Good understanding of cash or derivatives market is an added advantage
• Excellent command in Cantonese speaking and English is necessary
