Application Analyst, C# & Azure - 40K

Job description

Our client, a global recognised retail brand with a dynamic business portfolio across Asia Pacific and Europe. They are now actively looking for an Application Analyst with good exposures in POS system and vendor management.

The ideal candidate should have good exposures in Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud integration and service migration. Please take note that this role is a 20%-30% hands on role.

Application Analyst, (C#, POS system - 40K)

Job Duties:

  • Working with Group Core System team in system design, business operations, and other relevant user departments in operation flow, data flow, training and control processes
  • Provide guidance and resolution on wide range of technical and non-technical issues covering all the Promotion Execution/Calculation related applications running in the backend
  • Manage changes per new application releases, including but not limited to on documentation for changes in functionalities, user manuals, etc.
  • Consulting and cooperating with Group IT Asia and Europe Store Technology teams
  • Interacting closely with stakeholders within Business Units in Asia

Job requirement:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technoloy or any related disciplines
  • At least 3 years solid experience in Retail industry or Point-Of-Sales (POS) and Microsoft Azure is a plus
  • Technical knowledge of C#.net, Windows Server, Windows Command Scripts, and strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL is indispensable in position
  • Strong interpersonal & problem-solving skills, logical & analytical mind, well-organized and self-initiative
  • A pragmatic and proactive approach
  • Good communication in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken with spoken Mandarin will be an advantage
