AP Assistant Accountant (International law firm, HKD25k-30k)

Our client is an leading international law firm with businesses globally. To cope with their expansion plan and to strengthen their business, they are looking for a AP Assistant Accountant to join their HK Finance team.

Directly report to Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for daily accounting operations, including preparation of cheque & accounting entries
• Manage vendor invoices and payments to ensure full compliance with company policy and timely payment
• Prepare bank reconciliation and update bank records
• Liaise with internal and external parties regarding queries and disputes with their accounts
• Participate in budget and forecast exercises
• Assist in month-end closings and annual audits, and ensure all procedures are in compliance with the firm's policy
• Ad hoc assignments required by Accounting Manager or senior management

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
• At least 3 year experience in AP or AR handling within professional services industries
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good command in English and Cantonese
