AP Accountant (Listed MNC, HKD30k)

Job description

The Company

Our client is a listed MNC with a fast-growing finance team in HK. The company has strong presence within Asia. To facilitate their company growth, they are looking for a high calibre AP Accountant to join regional AP team.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with other AP team members to handle regional payments processing for APAC
  • Timely processing of PO and non-PO invoices, credit notes, down-payment in Oracle/ SAP
  • Verify staff expense claims submission and relevant supporting receipts
  • Follow-up and clearing of pending prepayment transactions
  • Perform month-end closing and perform sub-ledger reconciliation
  • Ensure that all processes are in compliance with company's policy
  • Analyse cash requirement and perform funding activities
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and write off unpresented cheques
  • Liaise with internal and external on any AP queries
  • Ad hoc regional projects

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline
  • At least 2 years working experiences in accounting, with strong AP experience
  • Detail-minded and good communication
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
