Accounts Payable Officer (MNC)
Our client is a leading wholesale company with a strong presence in the market, supplying diverse products to retailers and distributors. To support their growing operations, we are helping them to look for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team and ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
Position Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Transaction Processing
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.
- Record payable invoices in the accounting system.
- Process inward and outward payments in the accounting system.
- Prepare supporting documents for payments.
- Monitor all payments to ensure they are completed before due dates.
- Follow up with relevant teams to ensure Accounts Payable are settled in line with cash forecasts.
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform reconciliations for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Maintain daily updates of the bank register.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports as required.
- Ensure all information (e.g., financial charges, loan movements) is entered into the accounting system in accordance with procedures.
Treasury & Compliance Support
- Assist the treasury team with banking and compliance procedures.
- Support adherence to company policies and financial controls.
Position Requirements
- Strong accounting background with experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in holding companies preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in an open‑plan environment with transparent communication.
- Proactive approach to improving processes and efficiency.
- Ability to maintain accurate and orderly accounting records.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to interact and communicate requirements to colleagues in a professional manner.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required, Mandarin is an advantage.
