Our client is an international logistics company with a global presence. We are assisting them in seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Officer to join their finance team. This role will be responsible for managing a full set of accounts, supporting investment holding company books, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for our shipping operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounting for the company
• Maintain and manage the ship's investment holding company accounts
• Process revenue transactions (Accounts Receivable) and expenses (Accounts Payable)
• Perform month-end closing and prepare financial statements
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems/software
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) & Cantonese; additional language skills are an advantage
