Accounting Officer (AP and AR up to HK$25k)

Our client is a leading shipping company with business over the globe, they are currently looking for a Accounting Officer to join their finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of Accounts Payable and Receivable, including data input, cheque payments, and cash flow monitoring
• Handle bookkeeping and ensure accurate transaction processing in the accounting system
• Track and prepare expenses reports, and ensure timely payments in line with credit terms
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and maintain relationships with vendors regarding accounts payable
• Prepare various financial reports, including Receivable and Deposit reports
• Assist in administrative tasks, including filing and clerical work.
• Assist the Finance Director and Accounting Manager on ad hoc analyses, reporting, and finance/ accounting projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in commercial field
• Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel
• Independent, proactive, good team player and detail mind with strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Proficient in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)

Job offers:

• 9am-6pm Monday to Friday
• Stable working hours and working environment
