Accounting Manager - Process Improvement

The Company

A leading international firm with a regional hub in Hong Kong. The company is reputable for their strong brand positioning, they are currently looking for a manager with process streamlining operational improvement experience to assist with a new initiative in process improvement and streamlining

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main project coordinator for the finance & accounting process streamlining.
  • Work closely with IT team and external vendors to improve processes from a system of finance perspective
  • Understand the finance and accounting workflow to better improve systems for reporting purposes
  • Workflow standardization to increase report efficiency and resolve any issues with vendors and internal technology team
  • Review and update various system documents (i.e. training materials, operating manual & procedures)
  • Handle ad-hoc works or projects as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent professional qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience in an accounting or system related role, with exposure in process analysis and streamlining
  • Experience managing projects in multiple systems in finance
  • Candidates with all rounded accounting and finance experience and exposure in streamlining will be considered
  • Good command of English and Cantonese; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Good analytical mind, self-driven, able to work under pressure and good communication and interpersonal skill
