Accounting Manager - APAC

About the company:

A leading pharmaceutical company specializing in next generation products and medicine. The company is currently looking for an Accounting Manager / Senior Accounting Manager to join and lead the financial and management reporting functions. More experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Manager opening.

The role:

• Manage a small regional APAC accounting team to perform monthly reporting and closing duties
• Lead and deliver monthly consolidated accounts whilst ensuring internal controls and compliance are met
• Work closely and monitor overseas accounting services and business relationships
• Monitor company cash flow situations and ensure treasury functions alongside relevant reporting
• Implement and maintain group internal controls, liaise with auditors
• Prepare tax computation and assist in tax planning
• Lead and develop existing and newly hired subordinates

Requirements:

• Degree Holder or above in Accounting, CPA Qualified Accountant is a must
• At least 10 years of accounting experience. Exposure in a regional role covering APAC is a plus
• Former experience in multinational environment, product driven industry experience is preferred such as FMCG, distribution or pharmaceuticals
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and ability to enhance internal controls
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
