Accounting Assistant

About the Company

The Client has over half a century presenting their luxury jewel business over the globe. They have more than 50 shops all over the world. They are now hiring an accounting assistant to provide support to China team of Finance Department. The main duties are assisting in daily routines of AP, journals and schedules preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Input approved invoices and Inter-company invoicing in accordance with the established accounting policies and procedures
• Handle payments with supporting and approval.
• Process outstanding invoices and verify with concerned parties.
• Perform bank reconciliation and input bank entries.
• Keep sales record with appropriate supporting.
• Prepare monthly account schedule for management analysis and statutory purpose.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Finance & Accounting
• Member of recognized professional accounting bodies is preferable
• Experience in handling accounting operations in China and/or other Asia regions
• Multi -tasking and able to handle duties accurately under tight deadline
• Proactive, independent, strong sense of responsibility and good team player
• Good written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Strong computer skills (MS Office/Excel)
• SAP experience is an advantage
