Accountant

My client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role will also involve handling payments and supporting various finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee payment processing, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and controls.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
