Windows Administrator, Securities, 70k

A multinational securities firm is currently looking for an experienced System Engineer to provide level 3 support to the Asia region

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain within the Asia region, including but not limited to:

1. Windows Servers, Deployment and management tools (Openstack, BigFix, Cloudforms & Puppet),
2. Virtualization (VMWARE /VDI/ Citrix/Hyper-V),
3. Messaging (Teams, Exchange, Airwatch),
4. Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365)

• Lead and provide support to projects such as, deployment of new appliances and servers, capacity upgrades and hardware renewal, software deployment / upgrades, Office setup / Office moves, Data centre reshuffling / refit
• Report, follow up and escalate if necessary, any incident in a timely manner and ensure it has been logged
• Use and ensure any change and IT/user request are properly logged, followed up

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in windows system administration, preferable with experience in Linux and Cloud
• Experienced in working within regional offices
• Good vendor management skills and communication skills
• Professional qualifications ie: VCP, MCSE, ITIL are an advantage
