Trade Compliance Manager (Manufacturing | 45 - 55k)

My client is global leading manufacturer across both consumer and industrial industry. Looking to enhance their trade compliance function, they are now in search of a Trade Compliance Manager.

Reporting to the Trade Compliance Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee trade compliance development (law, regulations etc) and manage regional strategies
• Develop and update SOP and internal procedures in line with customs laws for origin country import and export regulations, trade sanction etc.
• Provide regulatory counsel and liaise with relevant authorities on trade compliance matters
• Ensure compliance of freight forwards and custom brokers' declaration
• Implement and monitor specific measurements for business activities
• Perform supply chain traceability and due diligence according to industry standards and country's regulations

To qualify, one must possess

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of trade compliance strategy management experience
• Experience working with APAC regulation, trading customs and sanctions
• Experience working in consulting firm or manufacturer would be an advantage
• CPA certified would be an advantage
• Independent, good communication skills, problem solving mentality
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
