Job description

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of production releases for life insurance products and enhancements.
  • Coordinate release schedules, milestones, and system dependencies across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end solution consistency across front‑end, digital, and core life systems.
  • Work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather and confirm requirements.
  • Review BRDs and FSDs and translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
  • Support testing activities (UAT, IVT), defect tracking, and production readiness.
  • Manage vendor coordination and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide regular delivery and status updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of IT experience within the Financial Services industry (must).
  • Solid experience delivering life insurance products and working with core life administration systems (must).
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Java Spring Boot / Java microservices (must).
  • Experience with cloud environments and Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Experience with insurance product engines for product configuration is preferred.
  • Familiar with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
