Technical IT Project Manager (Hotel Systems, CRM)

• To be accountable to the project sponsor for the production of deliverables within agreed timescale, quality and budget;
• Creates and manages the project budget;
• Creates, manages and resources the IT project plan(s); agrees and reviews the plans, costs and resources with the project sponsor;
• Ensures all project commitments are met. Monitors and reports on progress in accordance with the PMO requirements;
• Diagnoses and evaluates potential risks and issues throughout the project. Reports regularly to the project sponsor with regard to such risks and executing appropriate plans to contain them;
• Ensure appropriate standards are adopted and that effective quality controls are built into the project plan and that mechanisms are in place to assure it;
• Ensures appropriate change management processes are implemented;
• Identifies and manages relationships through effective communication with all stakeholders including third parties and acts as the primary point of contact;

• Graduate qualifications in computer science or engineering;
• With at least 15 years of experience in software development, system integration, system design, on premise or cloud-based architecture design and system support;
• With project management experience in mid to large scale package-based or bespoke system implementation and participated in end-to-end lifecycle;
• Experience in implementing hospitality packages and CRM is preferred. (e.g. Oracle Opera, Shiji Hero, Concept Spa, ChainstorePlus & Microsoft Dynamic);
• Experienced in stakeholder management including SI vendor, product vendor, on-shore and off-shore resources;
• Business domain knowledge or experience in retail and/or hospitality industry would be an added advantage;e;
• Able to lead a small team (up to 5) on/off shore developers and work independently.
• Microsoft .NET framework, C#, MS / PL SQL, Java and other open source software and technology
• Application knowledge in Oracle Opera, Shiji Hero, Concept Spa, ChainstorePlus or Microsoft Dynamic would be an added advantage.
