System Specialist (Wintel), Banking, 35-40K

Job Description:

• To be a team member of Information Technology Department

• Perform system related tasks, in order to provide effective and efficient computer systems for application development and production, such as hardware/software evaluation, planning & implementation, maintenance & support, applying patches & fixes, system monitoring & tuning, security baseline compliance review, problem solving and capacity planning
• Perform review of end-of-support hardware/software & plan for the upgrade or replacement
• Provide technical support and advice to application development teams, operations staff, and any other relevant parties
• Report progress of system activities & project implementation to supervisor

Requirements:

• Higher diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline;

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT sector;
• Solid experience on Wintel systems administration, which includes change, patch, security, and application support;
• Strong technical skills on Windows server environment
• Good knowledge on computer products, such as VMWare, Citrix XenApp, Control-M and MS SQL
• Good understanding of relevant policies, procedures, practices and rules;
