System Specialist - Storage focused (SI background preferred)

Job Description

• Responsible for project deployment and maintenance support
• Responsible for system and storage installation
• Obtain and review client's requirements as to propose the best-fit solutions to fulfill client's needs
• Respond to RFI / tender and responsible for solution and technical write-up, translation of functional and non-functional requirements into a solution design and Scope of Work
• Responsible for overall design and architecture of the project delivery
• Prepare and deliver demonstration / presentation to customers
• Occasional on-site support
• Occasional oversea (APAC) installation/ deployment
• Prepare and finalize project related documents

Job Requirement

• Solid experience on VMware vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, Windows Server
• Solid experience on SAN / NAS Storage (DELL EMC, Pure Storage, NetApp, HDS and HPE)
• Solid experience on backup solution (CommVault, Veeam, Netbackup, Networker, Avamar, BackupExec)
• Knowledge onLinux and UNIX
• Firewall and Network skills/ knowledge are plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud & AliCloud) are plus but not mandatory
• 5 years or above working experience would be an advantage
• Holder of professional certifications would be an advantage (e.g. VCP)
• Willing to learn new technologies and strong problem solving skills
• Fluent in Chinese, with proficiency in English an advantage
