System Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain servers and network devices across Windows and Linux environments.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure high availability.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular system backups and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Install, configure, and update software, hardware, and network equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and support enterprise applications and cloud services.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in system or network administration, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux server environments, with familiarity in MS SQL Server and MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with scripting for automation is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
