Senior Test Engineer - 48k-53K

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in test planning, test case management, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Manage and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support.
• Actively participate in test execution, maintaining a hands-on approach.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure the quality of deliverables.
• Drive the testing of Business As Usual (BAU) processes.
• Demonstrate a natural curiosity in understanding and solving defects or problems.
• Maintain a proactive and independent approach, speaking up when necessary.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
• Communicate effectively, describing problems clearly and concisely to teammates.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the life and health insurance industry, specifically in agency new business and ePOS/eApp journeys.
• Proven experience in driving the testing of BAU processes.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong leadership abilities with some experience in leading a team of testers.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
