Senior Support Analyst

Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide daily system support for securities trading platforms, ensuring system stability, availability, and timely issue resolution.
  • Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis across application, server, and network layers.
  • Execute morning system checks (from 7:00 AM) and handle operational support tasks.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to escalate and resolve technical incidents efficiently.
  • Support weekend operations on a rotation basis.
  • Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with system enhancements, testing, deployment, and production rollouts.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in system support for securities trading systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux server commands and shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of server and network infrastructure (connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, etc.).
  • Willing to work morning shifts (7am start) and weekend rotation.
  • Advantageous:
    • Hands‑on experience with Python, VBA, or other scripting languages.
