Senior Purchasing & Inventory Officer (Manufacturer | 25 - 30k)

My client is global top tier manufacturer within both the consumer and industrial sector. Looking to enhance their purchasing and logistics function, they are now in search of a Senior Purchasing & Inventory Officer.

Reporting to the Head of Asia, your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct regular purchasing activities with suppliers according to business needs including issuing purchase order, monitoring pricing, coordinating shipment
• Maintain a healthy and cost efficient inventory level and coordinate regular stock take with warehouse colleagues
• Generate regular reporting and analysis of slow movement stock, short life span stock and expired stocks
• Maintain SAP system up to date with regular data updates
• Monitor and coordinate relative logistics activities including both ocean and air freight

To qualify, one must possess

• Degree holder with at least 2 years of experience for inventory management and purchase order management
• Working experience within manufacturer would be an advantage
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Self motivated, independent, good communication skills and fast learner
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
