Senior Officer, HKMA banking returns/ financial reporting

Our client is a well-branded foreign bank, to cope with their business operations, they are currently looking for a candidate with minimum 2 years of hands-on banking returns preparation experience to join the experienced Finance team.

You will be expected to primarily prepare the HKMA banking returns and surveys, periodic financial statements on a timely basis; while occasionally assist in the portfolio valuation for their private fund operations. Please feel free referring to the details below:

• Prepare HKMA banking returns, financial statements and statutory financial disclosure statements
• Prepare portfolio valuations and NAV closing
• Liaise with external and internal stakeholders
• Other ad-hoc issues and projects

Ideal candidate should have…

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or other business related disciplines
• Professional accounting qualifications (HKICPA, CPAA, ACCA) would be advantageous
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HKMA banking returns preparation
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Independent, self-motivated, good problem solving skills and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
