Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Training Officer to join the fashion retail company. The Senior Training Officer will play a key role in developing and implementing effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees across various departments.

  1. Training Program Development:
    • Collaborate with department heads and HR team to identify training needs and objectives.
    • Design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with the company's goals and values.
    • Create engaging training materials, presentations, and resources to facilitate effective learning.

  2. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels, including sales associates, supervisors, and managers.
    • Utilize a variety of training methods and techniques, such as workshops, role-playing, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
    • Ensure training sessions are delivered effectively, addressing individual learning styles and promoting active participation.

  3. Onboarding and Orientation:
    • Develop and deliver an effective onboarding program for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
    • Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture.

  4. Performance Evaluation and Feedback:
    • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Provide constructive feedback to employees and managers to support their professional development and performance improvement.

  5. Training Administration and Coordination:
    • Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluations to track individual and organizational progress.
    • Coordinate logistics for training programs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and necessary resources.
    • Collaborate with external training providers, when required, to ensure the delivery of specialized training programs.

  6. Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
    • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in training methodologies.
    • Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills to deliver cutting-edge training programs.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Training Officer or in a similar training role within the fashion retail industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion retail industry, including sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using training software, learning management systems, and multimedia tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
