Senior Java Developer,

Responsibilities:

• Work as a delivery arm for the various solution deliverables of backend enterprise sub-systems.
• Work closely with technical architecture team and development team in China and Southeast Asia Region.
• Carry through the development lifecycle by following architectural design and guidance from group IT.
• Conduct end-to-end delivery from requirement gathering from both non-technical business users and technical team in Shenzhen team; perform revamp, Restful API and Microservices design and development, UAT, SIT and production support.
• Work closely with cross-functional development and SRE teams to ensure the deliverables to aligned with group's application security standards.
• Responsible on API performance monitoring and tuning using Grafana and Kibana for log analysis and debug on performance issue.

Requirements:

• Over 4 years of full-stack or backend Java development experiences, derived from banks, insurance companies, or asset management companies.
• Solid technical architecture design, development and post-live support experiences to resolve mission critical issues from business users.
• Hands-on experience in modern Java stack and frameworks, such as Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot 3.2+, Restful API/gRPC and Microservices architecture.
• Sound knowledge in monitoring or log systems, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, etc.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
