Regional Salesforce Marketing Cloud Tech Lead (5+ years)

About the Role

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to deliver impactful marketing strategies? My client is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist who combines deep technical knowledge with strong business acumen. You'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing automation journeys that drive real business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.).
  • Translate business goals and requirements into effective technical solutions and customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align Marketing Cloud capabilities with overall business objectives.
  • Manage data integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other platforms (e.g., CRM, web analytics, data warehouses).
  • Analyze campaign performance, generate actionable insights, and optimize for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure best practices in data management, privacy compliance, and deliverability.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide end-user support and training as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (MC) and best practices, with hands-on implementation experience highly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of the SFMC technical platform, with direct, practical implementation experience.
  • Proven integration experience with core Salesforce platforms-Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Solid experience configuring Marketing Cloud, including:
    • Proficiency with Cloud Pages
    • Advanced SQL skills
    • Deep understanding of Journey Builder and journey configuration
  • MarTech knowledge/sense and familiarity with broader marketing technology platforms is preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping, segmentation, and marketing automation.
  • Solid understanding of email deliverability, CAN-SPAM regulations, and data privacy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile environments is a plus.
