Sales Director, Hong Kong - MNC Event Tech

Our client is a global company that specializes in providing audiovisual and event technology solutions for live and virtual events, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions. They are dedicated to creating engaging and memorable experiences for their clients and audiences.

Based in HK, the Sales Director will be responsible for new business development and driving business growth in the Hong Kong market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales, partnership and new business development strategy aligning with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hospitality, corporate, association, and exhibition industries, and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Leverage strong client relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals regularly and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the senior management team.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to meet client needs and deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team on how to best position the company brand in the Hong Kong market.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management or new business development, preferably in event production, hospitality, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
