Our client is a multinational Wine & Spirits Company with a strong presence in the Asia market. The Company is in a game-changing mode and plans to grow its business over the next 3 years aggressively. With a critical focus on the Asia market, the Company is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead the regional business and business development for this vital phase.

As a Regional Sales Manager based in HK with frequent travel, you will spearhead the business for North Asia and Oceania. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage distributors and take ownership of the total sales and marketing strategy for the business in North Asia and Oceania.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for the Company.
  • Partner with the global brand team to monitor brand market share and development of the E-Commerce strategy.
  • Coaching business partners and distributors to enhance brand awareness and expand the market share
  • Analyse and review market research data and work on an action plan accordingly
  • Formulate and drive annual business plan with a good understanding of market dynamics
  • Provide trade marketing support, liaising with the distributor, retailer, wholesaler
  • Take full responsibility for actions and coach the partner to optimise the effectiveness of the sales and marketing program as well as the correct implementation

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree holder with at least 10 years of Regional Sales and Distributor management experience
  • Experience in negotiating trade agreements and distributor contracts
  • Preferably in the Wine and Spirits Industry with commercial accountability.
  • Strong track record in sales management, along with a good understanding of brand marketing in the FMCG sector
  • Independent, well-structure, presentable with good business sense
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English

*This position requires regular travelling to trade shows and other promotional activities.
