Our client is one of the biggest E-commerce companies headquartered and listed in the US. They've business partnerships with 1000+ suppliers and a business presence across the US, UK and EU. The company has an aggressive business expansion in the APAC market with Hong Kong as a regional hub, and it's one of the fast-growing e-tailers in its sector.

They are currently looking for a Regional Project and Account Manager to join the fast-expanding team in Asia. Based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for leading engagement and building relationships with the client at origin to ensure they have the best overall experience in service, solutions, and technology when using the freight forwarding platform. As a Regional Project and Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a small team, lead the next phase of growth as the company expand the supply chain and logistics operations in Asia
  • Use your in-depth knowledge of clients' business and their goals, company platform, and the freight forwarding industry to drive positive outcomes
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for your clients/suppliers, building strong business partnerships and understanding how to meet their needs
  • Train and lead a team of key account/ engagement associates as they work to achieve both our clients and the company's business goals
  • Help to monitor both company forwarding and client performance metrics to ensure all parties can meet their commitments to service, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Be the "voice of the customer" to the broader organization, and proactively surface client needs to cross-functional partners and work to find solutions

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree and have 8+ years of experience leading a small team in supply chain operations, account management or customer success roles, or equivalent relevant external/ internal experience
  • Experience in the Regional Supply Chain and Logistics industry is a must, China and South East Asia regions knowledge is a big plus
  • Experience in building teams and defining new processes preferred
  • Obsessed with the customer experience and overall outcome, able to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders within a dynamic organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent analytical, business acumen and interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English and Chinese is a must
