Regional Finance Manager (HKD50k-60k)

About the company:

A rapidly expanding business in the professional services sector. The company is currently looking to grow their finance team in Hong Kong and is looking for a Regional Finance Manager to join and lead the financial and management reporting functions. The position will report to the head of finance in Asia and manage a small but growing team of accounting professionals in Hong Kong and overseas.

The role:

  • Manage a small regional APAC Finance & Accounting team to perform monthly reporting and closing duties
  • Lead and deliver monthly consolidated accounts whilst ensuring internal controls and compliance are met
  • Work closely and monitor overseas accounting services and business relationships
  • Assist with moving internal overseas processes to the Hong Kong Regional headquarters
  • Monitor company cash flow situations and ensure treasury functions alongside relevant reporting
  • Implement and maintain group internal controls, liaise with auditors
  • Prepare tax computation and assist in tax planning
  • Lead and develop existing and newly hired subordinates

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder or above in Accounting, CPA Qualified Accountant preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Former experience in a regional role and professional experiences knowledge is required
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and ability to enhance internal controls
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
