Job description

Our client is a leading life insurance company. They are currently seeking a QA lead to oversee SDLC quality and ensure delivery excellence. This role involves leading testing activities for new projects and driving overall software quality.

Job Duties:

  • Review project requirements, specifications, and testing documentation.
  • Lead a small team of testers and manage deliverables.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and cases.
  • Track and report QA activities and project quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Provide QA consultation and support for internal/external testing.
  • Analyze test results and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain testing documentation and templates.
  • Manage verification and validation for production changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of IT experience with strong QA and SDLC expertise.
  • Proficient in software testing, QA governance, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and Jira/Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of testing phases and methodologies.
  • Proven track record in enterprise project delivery.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Good communication skills in English and Cantonese.
