Python Developer, Private Bank, 60k - 70k

One of the largest private banking and asset management group is now looking for an experienced Python developer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Build highly responsive web applications through appealing visual design using Angular
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications, following a micro services architecture
• Write effective APIs, and build reusable components for future use
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
• Migrate existing VBA Macros using Python

Requirements:

• This role requires a passion to code, test and deliver quality applications within the desired timeframes.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications, also cloud native (Azure)
• Familiarity with common stacks, agile and CI/CD pipeline
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, TypeScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache), container technology (kubernetes or OpenShift) and DevOps platforms (GitLab)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail, solution driven and analytical mindset person
• Expenience in Investment product, Wealth & Asset Management is a an advantage
