Purchasing Analyst (Retail | 23 - 25k)

My client is one of the market leading Japanese retail chain with an expansion plan in Hong Kong. Looking to enhance their data analysis function, they are now in search of a Purchasing Analyst.

Reporting to the Buying Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and analyze data related to sales, procurement, inventory, rebates, and other KPIs
• Manage product master and promotion activities, which involve product registration, configuration, aggregation etc
• Conduct regular sales reporting and highlight relative market insights
• Support order process and imported products management, which involve data creation, shipment tracking, customs clearance, quality inspection, etc.
• Support Buying Manager on other administrative and reporting task

To qualify, one must possess

• Degree holder with at least 2 years of sales data analysis experience across retail or consumer industries
• Candidate with experience in logistics, freight forwarding would be considered
• Japanese speaker is a MUST
• Proficient user of Excel with functions such as vlookup and pivot table
• Proactive, problem solving and team player mentality
• Good command in both written and spoken Japanese and Chinese
