Project Manager, Banking 50-65k

What You'll Do:

  • As a project manager, you'll oversee end-to-end delivery of complex payment and FPS projects, including system upgrades, new product launches, and third-party integrations.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, IT teams, compliance, and external partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of banking operations, payment workflows, and FPS-specific requirements.
  • Ensure projects align with industry best practices and relevant standards like ISO 20022.
  • Identify and manage project risks and ensure compliance with HKMA, MAS, or other relevant regulations.
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes, including UAT coordination and post-launch reviews.
  • Lead and mentor junior project managers or business analysts.
  • Drive a customer-centric mindset within the team, prioritizing user experience and operational efficiency.

What You Bring:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering payment or financial technology projects. Experience working with FPS projects in the Hong Kong market is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, leadership, and team - building skills. In - depth knowledge of payment systems, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, and strong analytical and problem - solving skills.
  • Language: Fluent in Cantonese is a must. Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
