Production Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the release and deployment process for UAT and production environments, including conducting post-deployment checks.
• Provide support for production incidents, including replicating and analyzing issues, performing data patching, and sharing relevant data with the product/project team for further investigation.
• Act as a dedicated resource for performing day-to-day testing of the POS application.
• Conduct system health checks and monitor system batch jobs to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate with vendors on security and server-related tests, such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and server upgrades.
• Manage and administer service requests for the team, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
• Generate system reports for management and the helpdesk to facilitate decision-making and support operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with hands-on knowledge of JBoss/Tomcat and Apache administration and support.
• Understanding of server certificate renewal processes.
• Basic knowledge of networks and firewalls is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge in areas such as PL/SQL programming, XML, JSON, API, and Control-M is desirable.
• Experience and interest in performing functional tests on mobile apps is preferred.
• Ability to thrive under high-pressure situations.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring overtime and work outside of regular office hours.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive personality with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
