Assistant Accountant (International law firm, HKD25k-30k)

Our client is an leading international law firm, they are looking for a Assistant Accountant to cope with their expansion plan.

Report to Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare full set of management account and month-end closing
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliation, inter-offices transactions and reconciliations
• Assist in cash flow management and forecasting
• Review of balance sheet and control accounts on monthly basis and ownership of UK SAR (Solicitors Account Rules) controls
• Lead on any changes in financial / tax legislative matters within the region including cross boarder client engagements.
• Be a point of contact for HQ financial control colleagues
• Liaise with external advisors on annual audit and tax fillings
• Assist in cash flow management and forecasting
• Support in accounting and other ad hoc assignments

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance or any related disciplines
• Qualified Member or finalist of HKICPA, ACCA or CPA Australia
• At least 3 years of accounting work experience
• Willing to learn, good team player, attention to details and good communications
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
